Classic Parts 3D was born from the meeting of three enthusiasts of classic cars, reverse engineering and 3D printing.
We combine digital design, technical expertise and craftsmanship to bring unavailable components back into production and develop custom solutions on request.
A small discontinued component can compromise an important detail of a classic car. Our goal is to recreate it faithfully and functionally.
We start from the original part, even if broken or incomplete, from a 3D scan or from verifiable measurements. We assess the material best suited to the application to ensure correct operation based on the required temperatures and mechanical properties.
We then rebuild the component taking into account mounting points, installation and functional requirements.
We study the part, mounting points and installation area.
We reconstruct the geometry and 3D model of the component.
We verify fit and functionality.
We manufacture the replacement part or small batch with attention to fidelity to the original component.
